WHEN George Eads arrived in Australia, one of his main aims was to experience Australian life. And that's exactly what he has done.

The star of TV's CSI spent a few hours at the Melbourne Zoo yesterday and was impressed by the wildlife, especially the koalas and tree kangaroos.

"I love Australia and I want to see a lot of it," he said.

Eads was a guest presenter at the Logies on Sunday night, but didn't have a huge night as he had a full list of commitments yesterday.

On Saturday night, he went to see the Dreamtime match between Richmond and Essendon.

Last night he headed to Sydney, where his main aim will be to ride across the Sydney Harbour bridge.

The only female international guest, Joan Rivers, was a co-host on the Today show yesterday.
